Non-invasive paternity testing allows determination of a child’s biological father by analyzing cell-free fetal DNA (cffDNA) found in the mother’s blood during pregnancy, eliminating the risks associated with invasive sampling methods like amniocentesis.
This test is not designed for legal proceedings. It is intended for personal knowledge and reassurance only.

Clinical usage | Comparison of DNA profiles of the child and the alleged father using SNP (Single Nucleotide Polymorphism) typing with maternal plasma DNA sequencing (This test is not designed for legal proceedings). NOTE: This test is only applicable for singleton and twin pregnancy The specimen will be tested by our qualified referral lab |
Type of sample | 10ml Maternal Blood (Streck Tube) Please provide: • 3ml Alleged Father’s Blood (EDTA Tube), or • Buccal swab (2 swab samples in Sterile Container, WITHOUT Gel) |
Patient requirement | – Gestation age: ≥10 weeks – No fasting required IMPORTANT: Please sign the Declaration and Consent on request form |
Storage & transportation | Streck tube is stored and transported in ROOM TEMPERATURE (20°C – 35°C). MUST arrive in laboratory within 48 hours after blood drawing. |
